David Pérez is Director of Energy Consulting at Agere Energy & Infrastructure Partners.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and a PDG from IESE Business School. With over 25 years of professional experience — including more than 20 years in the energy and renewable sector — he brings extensive expertise in consulting, technical advisory, and engineering of renewable energy projects.
David spent 18 years at Altran/Capgemini, where he served as Managing Director of Energy and Renewable Energies in Spain and Global Head of Renewable and Sustainable Energies at group level.
He has led and delivered professional services across a wide range of renewable energy projects, with a track record exceeding 60 GW.
From 2012 to 2020, he acted as an expert advisor to the Kingdom of Spain in renewable energy matters, covering regulation, market dynamics, economics, and technology.
He is also the author of the first position papers in Spain addressing the cannibalization of renewable energy markets (2018–2019).
